When the idea of a segment weaving the world of spirituality, menopause and perimenopause appeared Julie's were among the first names that popped into my field - and she immediately said yes!

In this Sacred Conversation we discuss Julie’s journey through perimenopause and menopause, highlighting the uncertainty and physical symptoms she experienced, including irregular cycles, night sweats, and anxiety.

Julie emphasizes the importance of seeking medical help, sharing her positive experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) after natural remedies were ineffective.

She touches on the spiritual aspects of menopause, suggesting it may symbolize a transition to a more powerful, less comparative stage of life. Stressing the importance of community support and open discussions about these transitions to help women navigate them without feeling alone.

Our conversation focuses on the intersection of physical and spiritual well-being. Underscoring the need for individualized approaches to health, the importance of destigmatizing medical interventions, and the long duration of perimenopause, which can last up to 13 years.
