I love books – plain and simple.
Whether functional or fictional I’ve usually got more than a few going on my Kindle – and if it’s functional I usually also get a hard copy because although I think the invention of e-books is a gift from God, then for functional books I use in my work I love being able to highlight and do inserts.
When it comes to books and libraries there’s two disctinct episodes I remember. The first being one of my first visits to the local library. The magic I discovered within that building has stayed with me ever since.
The second was walking into the national library at the beginning of summer vacation being SO excited that I would finally be reading books I wanted to read rather than the ones picked out by teachers at school.

Metaphysical Anatomy
Think Louise Hay but amplified to the umpteenth degree!
Metaphysical Anatomy by Evette Rose is an absolute must have for anyone working with energy, feelings, emotions and the physical or simply curious about it. There’s SO much gold in it.
I wish it came in a Kindle version because it’s a HEAVY one to travel with but the wisdom and clues contained in it is beyond measure. Highly recommend it.

Disclaimer; I’m SUPER biased when it comes to the magnificent soul that is Novalee Wilder. Former client turned friend and my trusted source for all things numerology as you’ll see further down as well.
Nova has an ability to share a lot in a small package and this book is a great introduction to numerology.

When it comes to buying Palo Santo there’s a couple, very important, points to highlight…
- That it be sustainably and ethically sourced from naturally fallen and dead trees not chopped from live ones!
- That the harvesting directly support indigenous families and land from which this holy tree is harvested.
Be mindful that exploitation on all levels is rampant when it comes to Palo Santo and any other indigenous product so thoroughly check your suppliers.
When I first realised this I stopped using Palo Santo for a long while till I found a supplier meeting my standards.

Crystals
Exploitation of people and land is running rampant in the crystal mining industry and with little or no transparency or regulated guidelines.
My mantra is that Love is The Way – and once I realised what was happening in the crystral industry I stopped buying.
Today only buy crystals from vendors adamant about giving back to the people, communities and land mining and sourcing the crystals.

Whatever you buy do it with love. Have a look at the vendors and see if their practices are aligned with your principles.
For me, I want to know that those sourcing the ingredients are paid properly.
Coffee
Coffee was one of the very first areas where my mantra Love is The Way was reflected in what I eat and drink.
Buying single origin coffee from companies directly connected to the farmers paying fair prices is where I started and what I’ll always recommend.
As my spiritual and physical journey has expanded my tolerance for caffeine has decreased. Researching I found that the herb Ashwagandha can be added to support you and your body – I also found a company Four Sigmatic that incorporates it, and many other beneficial adaptogens.
I use the ground coffee one but they’ve got beans, pods and instant too.

I love a delicious cup of hot cacao! I usually make mine with rice milk which is naturally sweet and eliminates the need for any additional sweeteners.
The trick to a no clump cup is to add the cacao to your cup, heat the milk and then stir it in bit by bit. First creating a paste and then liquid.
Please note this is not ceremonial grade cacao.
