In this Sacred Conversation Dr. Tobias Anker Stripp, Phd and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen, shares his journey integrating faith and health research.

You'll hear how an existential crisis during medical school, lead to a spiritual awakening and him exploring various practices, including Reiki, and conducted research on the relationship between faith and health.

How despite initial skepticism, he became a Reiki Master and integrated these practices into his medical work.

Tobias emphasizes the importance of living one's truth and the challenges of reconciling spiritual beliefs with a scientific career.

Our conversation explores the interconnectedness of spiritual and physical well-being, emphasizing the importance of both conventional and holistic approaches to health.

We touch on the challenges of integrating faith into modern, secularized societies and the potential of spiritual practices to alleviate suffering - and agree on the importance of love as a foundational principle and the need for inclusive, diverse communities.

Tobias openly shares where his own spirituality is currently at and the challenges he's facing navigating fatherhood.

He emphasizes the transformative nature of parenting, describing it as a spiritual practice that involves detachment and surrendering to the needs of his children.

Finally Tobias reflects on the unpredictability of life and the importance of staying aligned with one's true self to be prepared for whatever challenges arise.

Dr Tobias Anker Stripp, PhD, is a medical doctor, a postdoc at the Center for Science and Faith at the University of Copenhagen, and a Reiki Master.

He is also an affiliated researcher at the Human Flourishing Project at Harvard University and the Research Unit for General Practice at the University of Southern Denmark.

His research has focused on existential and spiritual care, human flourishing, near-death experiences, and the relationship between faith and health.

He spends a considerable amount of time on public dissemination of his research and views on health, and is often cited in public media, podcasts etc.

    To me, our journey as a spiritual business entrepreneur, as a soul-driven, heart-based entrepreneur, our personal growth is very connected to the growth of the business. Our businesses are gateways. It’s portals.     There’s simply no way around them. One of those, to me, one of those gateways or doorways or portals is launching something “for the sake of” launching it, for the powerful, powerful lessons that are within them.
